Paris Hilton Out of Jail!
I have to admit I was a little shocked to hear this news this morning! Paris Hilton was released from jail after serving only three days of her 23-day sentence.
Authorities confirmed the early release today and scheduled a press conference for later this morning to explain why the Simple Life star had been set free much earlier than anyone expected. The Los Angeles jail system has a notorious problem with overcrowding and sometimes a few days (or even hours in the case of Michelle Rodriguez) of good behavior can get you an early release. A sheriff’s spokesman, Steve Whitmore, had said yesterday about Paris Hilton that “She was focused; she was cooperative.”
I can’t wait to hear this explanation!
On a more realistic note, a Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said Paris has been fitted with an ankle bracelet and will complete the rest of her sentence from home. So don’t expect any pics of Paris clubbing it up anytime soon!
