Paris Hilton visits India in 2007
To all you Paris Hilton fans in India, get ready, the famous Hilton heiress will be knocking on your doorsteps soon to show off the latest line of high end wear from designer, Anand Jon.
Why Paris you ask? Paris Hilton is the ultimate ‘it’ girl, the Madonna (I wonder if he’s talking about the Hollywood celebrity or is it the Virgin Mary?)
Anand chose Paris to endorse his label because:
- She loves the Indian culture and the Indian influence on clothes.
- She understands fashion better than anyone else her age.
- She is a style diva. She is very particular about what she wears. She is the Madonna of our generation.
Anand also feels that Paris has been misunderstood more than often. “But I guess that’s the price one has to pay for being so famous at 25.
Though not many know that Paris comes from a family high on values and traditions. There is more to Paris than her parties.
She is a very cultured kid,”he adds. Anand will be visiting four places in India. “Mumbai is definitely on my list, but I have to narrow down four more places to shoot a campaign with Paris for my collection.”Also accompanying Anand will be the Lost series star Michelle Rodriguez.
