Kathy Hilton was spotted leaving the Los Angeles home of Michael Jackson who has passed away yesterday evening at the age of 50.

Jackson’s family members and friends - including Rick and Kathy Hilton - pulled past security one by one yesterday evening while the legions of Michael’s supporters quickly amassed outside the gates of his home.

Rest in peace Michael.

Paris Hilton headed out last night to enjoy dinner at Mr Chows with her family.

Kathy and Rick, along with Paris’ sister Nicky, joined her for dinner.

In other news, Paris told Radar Online that she is leaving next week for Dubai. “I had a going away party with family and friends. I’m leaving for Dubai early next week to shoot MY BFF: Dubai. Media reports that I was anywhere but my house last night are false.

I’m very happy being single and free. I’m looking forward to shooting in Dubai, and having a great summer.”

Kathy Hilton has spoken out, saying she wants her eldest daughter to like, stay single for a little while.

“My dating advice for Paris would be just to take your time,” Kathy told Tarts in Hollywood. “It is okay to be alone; you don’t have to always be with someone.”

Kathy also says she’s in no rush to be a grandma to Nicky and her fiance Dave Katzenberg.

“Oh no, she is only 25! They are happy and a cute couple, they’re so grounded,” Kathy said. “But it’s too soon for kids as well; I don’t want to be called grandma for a while.”

Kathy Hilton bought Nicky quite the housewarming gift!! She bought her an original Bert Stern photograph of Marilyn Monroe.

Kathy recently hosted a charity exhibition for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Los Angeles and decided to buy the famous photo to help raise cash for one of her favourite causes.

She says, “When she moved into her new house I gave her the signed Bert Stern shot. Nicky was delighted.”

“We’re all big fans of Marilyn Monroe. I own a couple of Murray Garrett shots of her. She’s a phenomenon, mesmerising and she’s still so popular. She’s bigger than ever.”

Kathy Hilton is set to star opposite Tom Cruise as his wife in Ben Stiller’s new summer comedy Tropic Thunder! Kathy just has a caemo role in the movie, but it must have been fun to play Tom’s wife!

“She filmed last winter and didn’t even tell her kids because she wanted to surprise them,” a set insider told InTouch Weekly. “She raved about Tom.”

Kathy’s no stranger to acting. She’s also shot a few episodes for The Young and The Restless.

Kathy Hilton doesn’t want her daughter to rush into marriage and instead thinks that Paris should taker her time with Benji Madden.

She explains, “They’ve only been dating for three months! But he’s such a nice boy and they’re really sweet together. He likes Paris for herself.”

Paris still thinks that Benji is a “perfect match“, saying she has never had such strong feelings for a man.

They certainly do spend a lot of time together!!

Kathy Hilton may be about to start a new career as a shoe designer if the company she and husband Rick Hilton are partner’s in successfully acquire iconic French footwear label Charles Jourdan. Back in the 1970s and 1980s it was the footwear label of choice for models and superstars alike. The Hilton’s company is currently bidding for the bankrupt shoe label and if the sale goes ahead intends to create a Kathy Hilton for Charles Jourdan collection. This would mark Kathy Hilton’s first product under her name. It is also reported that lots of pink, crystal and sky high heels should be expected if the deal runs smoothly.
