Paris Hilton Dubai BFF in Jeopardy
June 13, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Paris Hilton was spotted arriving at an office in Los Angeles, California yesterday.

Meanwhile rumors are circulating that Paris will cancel her visit to Dubai.
Paris was due to fly to the Dubai next week, to start filming Paris Hilton My New BFF - Dubai. The show is to be modelled on her raunchy MTV series in which Hilton tests women to see if they could be her best friend forever (BFF).
But the trip has been thrown into doubt amid fears the broken-hearted star will not be emotionally strong enough to go in front of the camera after the split from the six-month love affair.
The star has had a string of high profile short-lived relationships with celebrity men.
Do you think she’ll go?

Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF?
June 2, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Paris Hilton is taking her reality show to the Middle East! According to Variety, Park has inked a deal with Ish Entertainment to produce a Middle Eastern version of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, set in Dubai.
In the upcoming series, Paris will force a group of women – half originally from the Middle East and the other half made up of citizens from around the world currently living in Dubai – to compete against one another to be her BFF.
While the Middle Eastern version of BFF will be very similar to the British and American versions, Paris is expected to adhere to the strict behavorial guidelines enforced in the United Arab Emirates. This means no alcohol, no sex topics, no foul language, and no sexy wardrobe! Where’s the excitement in that?
Paris’ Dubai BFF will debut later this year.

Paris Hilton Chats My New BFF 2
May 23, 2009 by Nikki Katz
Paris Hilton recently chatted with IESB about her upcoming season 2 of Paris Hilton: My New BFF!
Paris reveals her favorite qualities about herself, insisting “I’m very giving, I have a big heart, I care about people, I’m fun, and that’s what I want in a best friend. I want someone who’s a good person with a big heart, who has empathy towards people, and who is a positive influence.”
So what will viewers be seeing in Season 2 of the reality show? “Season 2 is off the hook. It was so much fun! I had the best time doing it. It’s a million times better than the first season. The characters on the show are so funny. They’re so much more real. I just had such a great time. It’s all about the sisterhood, so it was like having my own Paris sorority, which was a lot of fun. There was hazing. Some of the things I put them through were kind of brutal, but it makes for really great television.”
This time around Paris is harder on the contestants. “Last year was a lot of fun and games, but this year, I really wanted to weed out the users and the losers, and people who I thought just wanted to be on television or just wanted to use me to make themselves famous. So, this time, I really made them do a lot of tests and put them through really harsh challenges. It was very different from last season, and a lot more fun. I can’t wait for everyone to see it on June 2nd.”

Paris Hiltons’s My New BFF Season 2 Casting Complete!
March 6, 2009 by Nikki Katz

Brett Lazar, a casting associate for MTV, blogged about the production process for season 2 of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. He talks about the pre-event and then his post-event evaluation….
Just as I thought, the castings were a great success. The turnout was amazing, as the lines of hopefuls coated the sidewalks before they were allowed to enter the venues. The individuals who were auditioning were filled with excitement and were composed of very diverse individuals which always makes for good television, ESPECIALLY for reality shows. A lot of great pictures were taken and the interviews ran smoothly and according to plan. We were able to sign up a ton of people who were unique in their own ways which was great. Now, the next step is to take all of the footage and interviews we had compiled and bring it over to MTV. There, we will vote on who we think has what it takes and eliminate those who we feel do not. When this list is complete we will send it over to Paris herself, where her and her team will take a look at her potential cast members. We will then wait on her approval, and lastly contact the finalists and give them the details of the next steps that will be taken.
Look for season 2 soon!
