Young Australians hate Paris Hilton and Britney Spears

I didn’t realise that Aussies can be so…hateful! 9 out of 10 of young Australian cringe when they see photos of Paris Hilton or Britney Spears in glossy magazines and can’t see what the fuss is alll about!

I like reading about Paris Hilton and I don’t ‘cringe’ when I see her name in print or on TV. She’s great! She plays the ‘dumb blonde’ girl really, really well and I do believe it’s just acting!

PARIS HILTON is still the queen of cringe with nine out of ten young Australians unable to abide the cult of celebrity surrounding her or Britney Spears.
Benji Madden’s side kick topped a meaningless Australian poll to find which celebrity had the biggest cringe factor among those aged 18-25 or, if you like, eligible to drink at Valley bars.

Paris polled 68 per cent of the vote, while troubled pop star Britney Spears had a 54 per cent share and Scientology’s couch dancing Tom Cruise was third (46 per cent).

The survey conducted by Galaxy Research on behalf of Optus also found the majority (62 per cent) are frustrated celebrities get paid millions for revealing they have a drug problem.

They also get equally irritated when they sell photos of their baby or their wedding to glossy magazines. Finally reality TV stars are also an aggravation and young men are over Nicole Richie’s oversized sunnies. Next survey please!
